Abstract

Web applications have become an integral part of modern society, providing a wide range of services from e-commerce and social networking to content sharing and productivity tools. However, the lack of a standardized framework for categorizing and understanding the various types of web applications has led to ambiguity and challenges in both research and industry. This paper presents an taxonomical classification that systematically organizes web applications based on their core functionalities, interactions, and user experiences. By providing a clear and structured taxonomy, this research aims to enhance our understanding of web applications and support informed decision-making in their design, development, and deployment.
