With the escalating volume and sophistication of online financial transactions, ensuring the security of these transactions has never been more pivotal. Traditional fraud detection methods have struggled to keep pace with innovative fraudulent techniques, necessitating a paradigm shift in detection strategies. This article reviews an integrated approach to fraud detection that melds the predictive capabilities of machine learning with the expansive storage and processing capacities of cloud-based data warehousing systems. Through an in-depth analysis, including real-world case studies, the article underscores the efficacy of this combined approach in offering real-time, scalable, and highly accurate fraud detection solutions. The findings highlight a significant reduction in false positives, cost savings, and enhanced user trust.
