Intelligent systems are now key technologies promoting innovation in several areas of engineering. Thanks to integrating AI, ML and automation, these systems improve their decision-making, perform better and can operate on their own. The paper discusses intelligent systems in engineering and how they are contributing to the development of future technologies. Current approaches and methods, along with how they are applied, are looked at. Findings prove that tasks are done more effectively, accurately and now with better adaptability.
