Developer Trust Scoring in App Marketplace Ecosystems: Building Composite Trust Indices from Behavioral, Transactional, and Relational Signals
Keywords:
ensemble, enforcement, transactionalAbstract
App marketplaces face persistent threats from fraudulent developers who manipulate ratings, inflate download counts, and distribute malware. This paper proposes a composite trust index that aggregates behavioral, transactional, and relational signals into a unified developer score. The framework draws on computational trust theory, graph-based anomaly detection, and ensemble machine learning to enable continuous, automated enforcement at platform scale.
